Citizenship as a Foundation of Rights

Next up in our events series for Women’s Vote 100 Evanston is a presentation coordinated by the League of Women Voters of Evanston. On February 12 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm the League will host Dr. Richard Sobel who will give a talk titled “Citizenship as Foundation of Rights” that will examine the nature of citizenship for Americans and the connections to voting rights, their expression and suppression. Sobel is a writer and academic, director of the Cyber Privacy Project and member of ACLU boards. The talk is free and will take place at Three Crowns Park, 2323 McDaniel Ave, Evanston. Lunch is provided for $20. More at
