Lori Osborne, director of the Evanston Women’s History Project, was recently invited to speak on a panel covering the topic of Temperance and Woman Suffrage at the National Archives in Washington D.C. In partnership with the Sewall-Belmont House & Museum, the National Archives hosts an annual women’s history month event and this year the event was themed to go along with a new exhibit at the archives — Spirited Republic: Alcohol in American History.
