Join Lori Osborne, Director of the Evanston Women’s History Project at the Evanston History Center (EHC), in conversation with Eden Juron Pearlman, Executive Director of EHC, for a suffrage anniversary review. The event takes place virtually on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, 6:30pm-7:30pm (CDT). This past year the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment was a focus for the EWHP because Evanston women played such a prominent role in the suffrage movement – locally, in Illinois, and in the U.S. Hear some insights from Osborne on what we can learn from this anniversary moment – and learn why doing women’s history and searching for this story was such an important focus for EHC and our community.
