Postponed – Performing in the Parlor
Performing in the Parlor: A Literary and Musical Entertainment with Suffrage Songs and Recitations will take place at the Evanston History Center and include an authentic nineteenth-century parlor performance with dramatic readings and woman’s suffrage speeches performed by Fiona Maxwell, as well as nineteenth-century musical selections for guitar, mandolin, and harp guitar performed on historical instruments by Anne Waller, Mark Maxwell, and Brian Torosian. In partnership with the Frances Willard House Museum. EHC is located at 225 Greenwood Street. The program is $10 for general public, free for EHC and FWHM members.
